Bridges, Martha was born in 1866 in Kingham, Oxfordshire. Daughter of Daniel Bridges and Annie. She married William Henry Creed 15 June 1908 in Adlestrop. She appears on the 1871 census for Kingham, Oxfordshire; 1881 for Greenwich, London; 1891 & 1901 for Notgrove, Gloucestershire; 1911 for Worcester, Worcestershire.

Brydges, Augusta Anne was a witness at the marriage of Mary(ii) Bartlett and Thomas Sabin.

Brydges, Rt. Hon. Lady Caroline was born 20 March 1730. She was the daughter of Henry Brydges, 2nd Duke of Chandos MP and Lady Mary Bruce. She married James(i) Leigh 10 March 1755. She died 8 December 1804. She lived at Adlestrop House. She is commemorated on a stone tablet in St. Mary Magdalene, Adlestrop. See Photographs.

Brydges, Henry 2nd Duke of Chandos was born 17 January 1708. Son of (Henry) James Brydges, 1st Duke of Chandos and Mary Lake. He married i) Lady Mary Bruce 21 December 1728, ii) Anne Wells, a chambermaid from Newbury, Berkshire 25 December 1744 and iii) Elizabeth Major in 1767. He was MP for Hereford (1727-1734) and Steyning (1734-1741). King George II described him as "a hot-headed, passionate, half-witted coxcomb". Other titles include Master of the Horse to Frederick, Prince of Wales, 2nd Marquess of Carnarvon, 2nd Earl of Carnarvon, 5th Baronet Brydges of Wilton, 10th Baron Chandos and 2nd Viscount Wilton. In 1732 he was invested as a Knight, Order of the Bath. He died 28 November 1771 in Biddesden, Hampshire. He was buried in Whitchurch, London. He is mentioned on a stone tablet in St. Mary Magdalene, Adlestrop in memory of his daughter Caroline's husband James(i) Leigh.

Brydges, Hon. Mary was born 19 February 1665 in Bridgenorth, Shropshire. Daughter of James Brydges and Elizabeth Barnard. She married Theophilus(i) Leigh 28 November 1689 in Westminster Abbey. She was Great-Grandmother of the author Jane Austen. She died 13 June 1703 in Adlestrop. She is mentioned on a stone tablet in St. Mary Magdalene, Adlestrop in memory of her son Reverend Theophilus(ii) Leigh, vicar of Adlestrop.
